The Dash

What matters in life the dash they say
Is how you live form day to day
The line between death and birth
Is how long you live here on earth
Matters not how many things
Fancy cars or diamond rings


It’s not the hours or the cash
What matters is how you spend the dash
Life goes on with laughter and tears.
What have we done in all those years?
What matters is how we live and love.
And what God knows from above.
